Scared of cakes

Ein paar Freunde unterhalten sich darüber, wovor sie am meisten Angst haben.

A few friends are talking about what they are most scared of.

Einer sagt Schlangen, ein anderer sagt Spinnen, und so weiter.

One says snakes, another one says spiders, and so on.

Schließlich sagt Jack er hat Angst vor Kuchen.

Finally Jack says he's scared of cakes.

Am nächsten Tag beschliessen sein Freunde mit ihm einen Streich zu spielen.

The next day his friends decide to play a practical joke on him.

Sie kaufen viele Kuchen und schliessen ihn in einem Raum mit ihnen ein.

They buy lots of cakes and lock him in a room with them.

Nach einer Weile öffnen sie die Türe und sehen, dass er alle Kuchen gegessen hat.

After a while they open the door and see that he has eaten all the cakes.

Ein Freund ruft: "Du Lügner! Ich dachte du hast Angst vor Kuchen! Sag uns die Wahrheit! Wovor hast du wirklich Angst?"

One friend shouts: "You liar! I thought you are afraid of cakes! Tell us the truth! What are you really afraid of?"

Er denkt eine Weile nach und sagt: "Ehrlich gesagt habe ich wirklich Angst vor einer Tasse Tee!"

He thinks for a while and says: "To be honest I'm really scared of cup of tea!"
