Difference between 'an' and 'bei' from gsconyer 02.02.2010 (15:09)

Can anyone tell me the difference between "an" and "bei"? Both words are defined as "at, by, in" here and when I look in some of my other resources there seems to be little difference there, too. Thanks!

Which should I use einfache or schlicht? from tubthumper 08.12.2009 (13:06)

Can anyone explain what the difference is between these two words. According to the word list, they both mean "simple" but einfache is listed as "Very Basic" whereas "schlicht" is listed as advanced so I am assuming there is a difference in usage?
